I have a can where the colour in the can does not match the colour card or in-store display sample

Comparing wet product in the can with the colour card or display sample is not an accurate measure. When dry, a colour may lighten or darken; the timber it is applied on will also affect the final colour of transparent or semi-transparent coatings.The best check to see if the colour meets your needs is to apply it on to an off-cut of your timber.
